rfio_pread - reads in a file

int rfio_pread (char *ptr, int size, int items, FILE *fd);
DESCRIPTION
rfio_pread
reads
items
times
size
bytes, using the descriptor
fd
generated by a previous
rfio_popen
and strore them at location
ptr.
RETURN VALUE
This routine returns -1 if the operation failed or the number of items actually read. In case of failure,
serrno
is set appropriately.
